iPhone 13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max Microsoldering Repair
The 13 series carries the same board-level fault pattern as the 12, with the Pro models priced slightly higher to reflect their added camera and sensor hardware.
We ship your device to our third-party repair partner, who performs the board-level work in their clean, dedicated microsoldering facility. Lake Forest Computer handles intake, logistics, insurance and communication end to end — you deal with us, not them. Current lead time is 4–6 weeks door to door. All parcels ship USPS with signature required.

What these faults actually are
Why the Pro models cost more for the same fault
The 13 Pro and Pro Max carry additional camera and LiDAR hardware on the same board real estate as the standard 13 and 13 mini, which makes the rework more involved for faults that touch that side of the board. The base 13 and 13 mini share one price; the Pro and Pro Max share a higher one, for the same repair.
Face ID dot projector faults
A cracked or disconnected dot projector flex shows up as Face ID failing outright or the phone getting stuck on the lock screen asking to use a passcode. It's a flex-level repair on its own, separate from the broader no-power/no-touch/no-image group.
How depot repair works
You contact us and describe the fault. We confirm the price from the table above, take payment for shipping, and send you the details to get the device to the depot. Our repair partner diagnoses it, performs the board-level work, and tests it. It ships back to you USPS with signature required. Door to door, budget 4–6 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge differently for the 13 mini than the 13?
No — the 13 and 13 mini share one price tier; only the Pro and Pro Max are priced differently, reflecting their extra hardware.
Will I lose my data?
No, aside from CPU-swap data recovery work, which is destructive and always confirmed first.
What if the repair is unsuccessful?
No fee in most cases, return shipping only. A $60 bench fee applies to devices already opened elsewhere.
