iPhone 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max Microsoldering Repair

The 12 series adds no-touch and no-image faults to the familiar X-series repair pattern. As before, we diagnose whether a reball or a bottom board swap is the actual fix before quoting.

These are depot repairs.

We ship your device to our third-party repair partner, who performs the board-level work in their clean, dedicated microsoldering facility. Lake Forest Computer handles intake, logistics, insurance and communication end to end — you deal with us, not them. Current lead time is 4–6 weeks door to door. All parcels ship USPS with signature required.

What these faults actually are

No touch and no image — usually one fault, not two

On the 12 series, no touch and no image very often trace back to the same failed power or driver component rather than two separate problems, which is why they're priced and diagnosed together rather than as separate line items.

WiFi, Bluetooth and the bottom board

Combined WiFi and Bluetooth loss on the 12 is a strong indicator the fault lives on the bottom board's RF section rather than being fixable with a simple reball. As with the 11 series, we confirm this at the bench before moving to the more involved repair.

How depot repair works

You contact us and describe the fault. We confirm the price from the table above, take payment for shipping, and send you the details to get the device to the depot. Our repair partner diagnoses it, performs the board-level work, and tests it. It ships back to you USPS with signature required. Door to door, budget 4–6 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is no touch grouped with no power and no image?

Because on this board generation they usually share a root cause. If your phone only has one of these symptoms, the diagnosis and price still start here — we don't charge extra for having 'only' one symptom.

Will I lose my data?

No, aside from CPU-swap data recovery work, which is destructive and always confirmed first.

What if the repair is unsuccessful?

No fee in most cases, return shipping only. A $60 bench fee applies to devices already opened elsewhere.
