iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max Microsoldering Repair

The 11 Pro and Pro Max share the 11's board architecture. As with the standard 11, we start with the less invasive repair and escalate only if the fault persists.

These are depot repairs.

We ship your device to our third-party repair partner, who performs the board-level work in their clean, dedicated microsoldering facility. Lake Forest Computer handles intake, logistics, insurance and communication end to end — you deal with us, not them. Current lead time is 4–6 weeks door to door. All parcels ship USPS with signature required.

What these faults actually are

No service and the bottom board escalation path

As on the standard 11, most no-service faults clear with a sandwich reball. If it persists, or comes with no WiFi, the bottom board needs replacing. We test after the reball first so you're not charged for a board swap your phone didn't need.

Pry damage on a Pro-body phone

The Pro and Pro Max use a stainless-steel frame that transmits shock differently than the standard 11's aluminum frame, and a bad pry during a previous screen or battery job shows up as intermittent power or charging faults rather than obvious physical damage.

How depot repair works

You contact us and describe the fault. We confirm the price from the table above, take payment for shipping, and send you the details to get the device to the depot. Our repair partner diagnoses it, performs the board-level work, and tests it. It ships back to you USPS with signature required. Door to door, budget 4–6 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same repair as the standard iPhone 11?

Same board family and same approach — diagnose, reball first, escalate only if needed — but the Pro's bottom-board-swap price is higher, reflecting the added camera and LiDAR hardware on that board.

Will I lose my data?

No, aside from CPU-swap data recovery work, which is destructive and always confirmed first.

What if the repair is unsuccessful?

No fee in most cases, return shipping only. A $60 bench fee applies to devices already opened elsewhere.
