Samsung Galaxy Microsoldering Repair
Board-level Galaxy repair is narrower than our iPhone list — a handful of connector faults — but our Galaxy data recovery coverage spans nearly every generation Samsung has shipped.
We ship your device to our third-party repair partner, who performs the board-level work in their clean, dedicated microsoldering facility. Lake Forest Computer handles intake, logistics, insurance and communication end to end — you deal with us, not them. Current lead time is 4–6 weeks door to door. All parcels ship USPS with signature required.

What these faults actually are
NFC connector faults on the Note 10 series
A Note 10 or 10+ that shows a temperature warning when you try to use wireless charging or Samsung Pay, even though the phone itself isn't hot, usually has a failing NFC connector rather than an actual thermal problem. It's a connector-level fix.
What we can recover, and what we deliver
Recovery output is either a Smart Switch backup (photos, video, contacts, texts, notes, apps) or extracted files — photos and video as-is, contacts and texts as a spreadsheet, and notes converted to PDF where the OS supports it. We confirm which format works before starting.
CPU-swap recovery and donor boards
When a Galaxy board is too damaged to power on at all — snapped, badly water-damaged, or the victim of a previous failed repair — recovering its data means swapping the recoverable chips onto a working donor board. You can supply a donor board yourself, or we can source one; a depot-sourced donor board is billed as a non-refundable up-front cost regardless of whether the recovery succeeds.
How depot repair works
You contact us and describe the fault. We confirm the price from the table above, take payment for shipping, and send you the details to get the device to the depot. Our repair partner diagnoses it, performs the board-level work, and tests it. It ships back to you USPS with signature required. Door to door, budget 4–6 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do board-level repair on every Galaxy model?
Board-level repair coverage on Galaxy is narrower than iPhone — mainly NFC and FPC connector faults on the models listed. Data recovery coverage is much broader.
What if I don't know my lock code for a pin-bypass recovery?
That's exactly what the pin/lockscreen bypass service is for — send the model and a photo of the lock screen and we'll quote it.
What if the repair or recovery is unsuccessful?
No fee in most cases, return shipping only. A $60 bench fee applies to devices already opened elsewhere.
Do I have to supply the donor board for CPU-swap recovery?
No — you can supply one, or we'll source one and bill it as a non-refundable up-front cost, whether or not the recovery succeeds.
